    AvePoint Cloud Management January 2022

Release Date for the Commercial Environment: January 9, 2022

Release Date for the U.S. Government Environment: January 16, 2022

    • In Administrator, you can now clone user permissions at the container level, and newly added sites to the container will be included in your plan.

    • In Administrator, you can now download your security search report into an .xlsx file.

    • In Administrator, you can now choose whether to monitor certain settings using the Library Versioning Settings Policy Enforcer rule.

    • In Administrator, you can now specify the Azure Active Directory groups whose permissions are locked and protected from modification using the Permission Modification Protection Policy Enforcer rule.

    • When exporting report files for Administration Reports, Auditor Reports, and Microsoft 365 Activity Reports, you can choose to use the same name for the report files in order to only keep the latest version of the report in your export location.

    • When you generate Administration Reports, you can select Column Information from the List report settings to show the list or library column information. The summary report will display all the column information in an independent sheet; the detailed report will show the column information in the corresponding list.

    • The Microsoft 365 Activity Reports for Azure Information Protection (AIP) data source now can include the SensitivityLabelData, ProtectionEventData, and Common properties in the report details.

    • Identity Manager can now use the app profile authentication method for the Ghost Guest Users rule. If you want to use the app that AvePoint Online Services automatically created in your Azure Active Directory, ensure you have configured an app profile for Microsoft 365 and have assigned SharePoint Online permissions to the app profile. If you want to use the app that is manually created in your Azure Active Directory, ensure you have added the Sites.FullControl.All SharePoint permission to the app and have assigned SharePoint Online permissions to the app profile for this custom Azure app.

    • In AvePoint Online Services, if you enable Report Data Collection to collect Microsoft 365 data for Report Center, Identity Manager, or Administrator, you can now configure your custom storage on Amazon S3 to store collected data.
