#General Updates

• Administrator, Identity Manager, and Report Center now support modern authentication for the features that previously used basic authentication. Due to this change, you need to switch to using conditional access policies if your tenant uses a service account with MFA enabled. Otherwise, some features will not be supported. For more details, refer to What If Your Tenant Still Uses a Service Account with MFA Enabled?.

  Starting from December 20, 2022, Cloud Management has taken the following methods to announce this change:

  • Published an announcement in AvePoint Online Services.

  • If your tenant uses a service account with MFA enabled, you will see a notification message when you enter the Administrator or Report Center module.

• When clicking the Submit Feedback button in the upper-right corner, you are now redirected to the Submit Feedback page in AvePoint Online Services.

#What’s new in Identity Manager?

• Identity Manager now supports exporting reports of Policy Enforcer to specific export locations of the SharePoint Online Document Library location type. When configuring a Policy Enforcer profile, you can select an existing location from the Export Location drop-down list or select New Export Location from the drop-down list to create a new location.

#What’s new in Report Center?

• The User Filter of the Microsoft 365 Activity Report and the Auditor Reports now support both exact match and fuzzy search. You can use * or ? as the wildcard for fuzzy search. * represents any characters; ? represents a single character.
