To ensure the files links in chat messages can be opened after being migrated to the destination, make sure the users configured in user mappings are consistent with the users configured in migration mappings.

Guest users are added to the destination via the Microsoft 365 admin center. If a chat has guest users, the guest users have the Guest label next to their display names.
Due to Google API limitations, user IDs of external users cannot be retrieved until a migration job has been run. Therefore, you can run a migration job first before configuring user mappings for external users. The migration job report will provide user IDs for external users whose files finished with exceptions. You can then use these user IDs to configure user mappings. However, if there are multiple external users in your source chats, distinguishing their user IDs may be challenging.
