Export to PDFThe infrastructure resilience feature allows you to add your Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google cloud resources to resilience policies. These policies ensure that your resources are replicated according to a schedule you define, meeting your recovery point objective (RPO). You can freely customize the protection scope of each policy. Instead of manually configuring the replication and failover for each resource separately, resources added to a policy can share the same RPO and replication schedule. In the event of a failover, you can swiftly transition all resources within a protected policy at once, minimizing data loss and reducing system downtime. For details on resilience policy creation, refer to Create a Policy.
After policies are created, recovery points will be generated by the system scheduled replication jobs running based on your policy configurations or your manually triggered jobs. For details on recovery point management, refer to Manage Recovery Points.
Additionally, before the final failover, failover tests are available to verify if the target failover solutions meet your requirements, with the ability to reset the test data as needed. Please note that failover tests can be run multiple times and reset. However, once the resources in a policy are eventually failed over and are not run in tests, the policy will cease to protect those resources. In such cases, you will need to create new policies to continue protecting the resources. For details on failovers, refer to Test Failover and Run Failover.
