    Configure a Backup Scope for Confluence

    Follow the steps below to configure a backup scope for Confluence:

    1. Go to the Application resilience page.

    2. Click on the Confluence service tile or click Configure backup scope on the tile.

    3. In the Configure backup scope panel, turn on the Enable backup switch and complete the following settings:

      • Account – Select accounts from the drop-down list. You can enter keywords to search for the account.

      • Storage profile – Select a storage profile from the drop-down list.

        *Note: The storage profile cannot be changed once saved.

      • Schedule – The backup job will run once a day. Configure the start time for your first backup job.

      • Retention policy – Configure the retention period to keep the backup data in the storage. If you are using AvePoint default storage with unlimited retention period, the Unlimited option is selected automatically in the list. If you want to use a custom retention period, select Custom, enter a number in the text box, and select days, weeks, months, or years from the drop-down list. The retention period cannot be less than 1 month.

    4. Click Save to save this backup scope. The backup for the Confluence data will roll out as scheduled.
