General Updates

  • You can now view the tenant name selected for connections and filter connections by the tenant name on the Connections page.

  • The source and destination of each migration job can now be viewed in the Report center > Job details tab.

What’s New in Exchange Online Migration?

  • The Source mailbox type and Destination mailbox type filter conditions can now be used to filter Exchange Online mappings.

  • Custom roles can be added to the Fly app profile / custom app profile to replace the Exchange administrator role required in the Exchange Online Migration. Note that this applies to Fly app profiles / custom app profiles used in Microsoft 365 Commercial tenants and Microsoft 365 Government GCC tenants, and Fly app profiles used in Microsoft 365 Government GCC High tenants.

What’s New in Exchange On-Premises Migration?

  • A custom delegated app profile can now be used to connect to your source or destination Teams.

  • You can now migrate permissions only for SharePoint team sites in Microsoft Teams Migration by configuring the MigratePermissionsOnlyForSharePoint=true customized feature in the migration policy.

What’s New in Microsoft Teams Chat Migration?

  • Microsoft Teams Chat Migration now supports migrations from/to 21Vianet tenants.

  • If any sub job, including the job to migrate chats and chats messages and the job to migrate OneDrive files fails, the migration job of the mapping will fail.

  • A custom delegated app profile can now be used to connect to your destination chat users and migrate chats.

  • You can now migrate permissions only for OneDrive sites in Microsoft Teams Chat Migration by configuring the MigratePermissionsOnlyForSharePoint=true customized feature in the migration policy.

  • The Source mailbox type and Destination mailbox type filter conditions can now be used to filter Gmail mappings.

  • Custom roles can be added to the Fly app profile / custom app profile to replace the Exchange administrator role required by the destination Exchange Online.
