The Audit data backup is now a separate feature that you can choose to enable for your Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365 subscription. If your subscription supports audit data backup, the Include audit data option will be available when configuring backup settings for the organization. With the Include audit data option selected, a separate set of the backup jobs will run for the daily backup of audit data. The backup frequency of the audit data backup jobs can be set up to twice a day, and you can define the start time for the backup jobs.

Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365 now provides public APIs for customers to retrieve their backup job information to monitor the backup job status and performance.
